Between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., trains will operate at intervals of 14 to 15 minutes in both directions.

The first services will depart at 4:00 a.m. from Dakshineswar, Noapara and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar stations towards Shahid Khudiram. Services from Shahid Khudiram and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar towards Dakshineswar will also begin at 4:00 a.m., along with a special service from Noapara to Dakshineswar.

The first train from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V will depart at 4:00 a.m., while the first service from Salt Lake Sector V to Howrah Maidan will leave at 4:02 a.m.

Yellow Line Services Also Enhanced

No Change in Last Metro Timings

Metro Railway clarified that there will be no change in the timings of the last services on the Blue, Green and Yellow Lines.

However, no Metro services will be available on the Purple Line and Orange Line on June 21.
The special arrangements have been made in anticipation of large crowds attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s International Yoga Day programme at Red Road and thousands of students travelling to examination centres for NEET-UG 2026 across the city.
