A cryptic social media post by Trinamool Congress MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has triggered fresh political speculation, with many interpreting the message as a sign of deepening unease within the ruling party's ranks.

The Barasat MP, who has been at the centre of several political developments in recent weeks, posted a message on social media that quickly drew attention from party workers and political observers alike. Although the post did not directly mention the Trinamool Congress or any of its leaders, its timing fuelled discussions about possible divisions within the party.

The development comes days after Kakoli stepped down from key organisational responsibilities within the Trinamool Congress, citing "moral responsibility" for the party's electoral setbacks in her organisational district. Her resignation was widely seen as an indication of growing dissatisfaction within sections of the party leadership.

Political circles have been abuzz with speculation ever since the senior MP resigned from her organisational posts and subsequently voiced concerns over developments within the party. The situation became more sensitive after she publicly accused fellow Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee of verbally abusing her inside Parliament and sought intervention from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

Reacting to the controversy surrounding the latest post, opposition leaders claimed it reflected growing discontent within the ruling camp. Trinamool leaders, however, sought to downplay the speculation, insisting that the party remained united and that political interpretations were being drawn out of context.

A senior Trinamool leader was quoted as saying, "People are reading too much into social media posts. There is no question of any split in the party."

While Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has not publicly clarified the intent behind her remarks, the ambiguity surrounding the message has only added to the intrigue.
